Dusheri Mango
Dusheri mango was named after the celebration of Dussehra. It can be traced back to the gardens of the Nawab of Lucknow, established in the 18th century.
This mango boasts the juiciest pulp of any fruit, along with an amazing flavor and a pleasant aroma. It will leave your mouth watering and your lips smacking.
Even though it is smaller than other mangoes, it is just as delicious with a sweet juice. And even after eating two or three of them in one sitting, you will still want more.
The first two weeks of July are when this mango reaches its flavorful prime. It makes that period the ideal time to indulge in its deliciousness.

Origin of Dusheri Mango
The Dusheri mango is native to northern India, specifically the area around Lucknow. During the 18th century, it was planted in the garden of the Nawab, the ruler of the area at the time. This is where it first gained widespread recognition.
Children affectionately refer to it as “Chusne wala aam“. The ideal way to eat it is to rip off the tip and extract the sweet pulp and juice by sucking on it. Because of their delightful flavor and heady fragrance, Dusheri mangoes are consistently ranked among the most popular mango varieties.
